Italian group specialised in recreating music and Roman dances. One of the very few existing groups devoted to this field, despite the theme is increasingly gaining force. Their main show is the Baccanalia or rites in the honour of Bacus. This show was first represented in the 2006 edition of the Tarraco Viva Festival. Bacus -Dionisus for ancient Greeks-, was believed to first produce wine and create several artistic modalities like dance and theatre. Another show is the Myth of Resurrection. During this cult, reaching physical and mental exhaustion was a must, equally to what happens when ending up drunken and joining music and wild dances. Upon reaching such condition, people searched communication with the Absolute and differences between young and old, men and women, poor and rich disappeared.

Bacus ceremonies were highly spread in Rome, but from 186 BC onwards they suffered a strong repression because, according to Roman authorities, baccanalia perverted roman youth.

When recreating a Roman Baccanalia, the group performs just the purely visual and artistic aspects. Understandably, actors do not reach the physical and mental condition real Bacannalia participants used to, but just the dances, the joy and the music are performed.
