This Catalan company specialized in scale model manufacturing built the large scale model of Roman Tarraco at scale 1:500 which is exhibited in Tarragona city. It is the second biggest scale model of the Roman world in Europe. This project started in 2001 and was conceived as a "living" piece, with a view to allow for it be transformed throughout the years by incorporating in it new advances in archeology.
This company offers schools and museums a scale model - jigsaw of roman city Antira, a roman city archetype in which it becomes a challenge to fit all 7,5 cm x 7,5 cm hand made, highly resistant pieces. It is an original manner of showing scholars the elements that configured a Roman city (forum, theater, aqueducts, etc) as well as their distribution. Roman urban planning learnt in a pleasant yet rigorous way.
