Drakonia is an action theatre company which produces documentaries, short movies and street animation for theme markets. The group is formed by professional actors with expertise in fighting techniques. They simulate all types of combat in strictest realism and guaranteeing full integrity.
Apart from re-enacting historical events with characters of every sort in theatre-like performances, their most popular shows are gladiator fights, tournaments and jousts among medieval knights and pirates' fights.
Drakonia created the show "The legend of Count Tallaferro" first time performed in 2007 at Besalú Medieval Market. This show is based on the well-known novel "The Bridge of the Jews" by Catalan Martí Gironell.
Members periodically undertake fencing courses with a great variety of weapons, sometimes with the professional aid of the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat.
